No matter what the kids should come first. It's not right to pick a man over your kids

Yes they do. I was just upstairs as a matter of fact, tending to my daughter because there's a thunderstorm right now and it scared her. I don't blame a guy for staying away from a single mom, but I can understand life from the single mom's perspective as well as I am all but single. I might as well be single, it would seem at times.

But it takes a real man to say that he would take responsibility for another man's child because of his love(or caring, but I see it as love) for one woman, and there is one man who has mentioned that to me as of late. In my opinion, that is very, very important to a single mom, though I am not one...yet.....

My father would be proud of a man like that, actually.

Yes, plain and simple. If I were single, my children would come before any man. A real man will understand a mother's responsibility lies with her children first.

No you can't! I myself don't even think twice if a woman has a child. That may sound cold, but there is so much more baggage added on if they have a child. So man there is nothing against you, in fact just all the crap my brother has had to deal w/ his ex, re-iterates how much of a pain in the butt it is. He still has to deal w/his ex another 12 more years! That is something I just don't want to have the one I'm involved w/to deal with. Not when I have a choice. Nothing wrong w/you at all.

if a guy is just looking for a good time, then he should stay away from a mother... if he is looking for something real, he should be open minded...

Well, my wife married a single father of two (that lived with me full-time)...so no, I don't see where you are coming from. Sorry.
