Like creeping through the house to not disturb anyone and my knees pop, or trip over a tricycle, or stepping on the dog...Ever notice that? The quieter you are the louder you get?

Keen observation. It's probably just because you're trying too hard to "stay below the radar" and at the same time you are intensely cognizant of your every minute move.

cuz you're trying to move quietly. you notice more noise when you are listening for noise. being overly cautious makes you nervous and a clutz. moving slow makes your knees pop. and the dog and its squeeky toys are all out you do you in. bikes are just always in the way no matter what. where are you going anyway? you trip over the dog and the tricycle in the same sneeky trip? many reasons to your very serious troubles

Brings me back to my teenage years... ahhh, memories!
Did you ever notice that people talk loud when they are try to make it seem like they know what they're talking about? Next time your talking to someone, and you know they really don't have a lot of knowledge on that subject, listen, and you'll notice that the less sense they're making, the louder they'll get!

Yes! I hate when that happeneds, we have squeaky floors in our house, and the quieter I try to walk the louder the floors squeak.

Personally I've always had trouble with kicking the cat. I suppose, however, if I were honest with myself I could admit the truth. The truth being... I hate that damned cat.

And as to your question, chalk it up as another mystery of life, just one of those magical little things. Either that or we're just paying more attention.. Probably the magical thing though...

yeah that is so true, i think its because your attention is too much focussed on not making noise but its only a matter of seconds before you blow things up, i hate that gut especially in the morning when i wake up and try to grab some breakfast but i want to make the least noise possible

whilst i'm under pressure, drained or basically choose to be on my own, I decide to be with quiet human beings. If I even have some thing on my concepts, I decide to be with somebody to hearken to what i choose to declare, so I then choose a quiet guy or woman. whilst i'm chuffed, unsleeping, and not under pressure in any respect, and choose somebody to talk to, I choose loud human beings.

It means you have too much stuff to trip over. Throw some of it out and you will be fine.

i think its because you're too focused on being quite that you overdo it....the more you think about something the more likely you are going to do it. i've noticed it a lot too!
