Since cricket is a game of uncertainties as has been proved on number of occasions, nothing can be predicted for sure about the outcome of a tournament in advance.
While Australia are hot favourites to win the world cup, New Zeland, South Africa and Sri Lanka are also in contention for the same. One bad game in semi final or final will ruin the chances of not only Australia but any of these countries.
