i dont agree its was beyond their potential. they had been showing glimpses of brilliance and this time it was nothing different. lets wish them well against ireland.

I fully agree with 'Roshni' above. The Bangladeshi team played similar to their counterpart from this subcontinent, that is, not a very consistent performance.
I am not at all comparing the performance between India, Pakistan, Sri lanka and bangladesh by ounce-to-ounce basis; but the overall picture remains similar tha these teams lack consistency of their performance or skill shown on the ground.
Sri Lanka among the flock may have come out of this vicious cycle of "win-loss-loss-win-loss-loss" things and I will be rooting for them (SL) in coming days!

While Bangladesh played beyond their potential against India and South Africa, they could not repeat the same performance in other matches played by them in this world cup.

Yes i agree !! Defeating NZ in Warm-up matches, india in league match and then south africa in super eight , and that was the win they earned with their effort ! i think even if they can't make for the semis, its not a bid deal.....they have achieved alot already...atleast now when they come in the field the opposition do not consider them just "kids" and play a serious game against them.....umm against England?....so again not a big deal...........becuase if you are an asian team you are inconsistent " Genetically" !! Can't expect more than that ! Well done bangladesh ! played much better than expereinced teams like India and Pakistan !!

Hi just been very boring 2 days on the 5th and the 6th when the cricket was not on but could not stop me from going on http://www.action8cricket.com its like an addiction I was happy to see the replay action of the matches. There service for the world cup has been terrific be it the commentary or score or streaming they rank 10/10 for it. As mentioned in my earlier posts they have excellent customer support I’ll be always honored for the services they have delivered in this world cup.
