making a music is an amazing skills for each age- ninety 9% of television shows are no longer perfect for families and are basically getting worse..seem at it this way. particularly then see it for basically human beings making a music different songs, seem previous that and notice what many of the winners and contestants are growing to be to be? Carrie Underwood has gained 5 awards or so and is extra powerful then maximum united states of america singers accessible. Jennifer hudson basically gained a grammy etc.. each twelve months it provides a hundred,000 of adult males and girls that have spectacular skills (no longer all)..a great gamble to alter into disovered. This twelve months we've Melinda and Lakisha who're gonna blow the roof off. There are another good ones too. i think of part of the hooplah and stuff that is going on during the Auditions are unnecesarry..yet whilst it comes dowm to the basically perfect 12-that's a real, sparkling, exiting tutor! I think it is the hope of a dream come true that gets to everyone. I admit, I started watching it because I am a music lover and a lover of dreams, but I don't really watch too much television anymore. The only reason why it even reaches my ears this season is because apparently there is a contestant on the show with the same name as me.....yes, it starts with M.....

People get hooked on different shows. You can ask that about any show. I've watched all six seasons of AI because you never know what might happen and sometimes you just want someone to succeed.
Or you just want to watch the drama of someone getting kicked off. It's just entertainment, not brain surgery.

American Idol, Australian Idol, New Zealand Idol.
Forget it ..... it's for the age group between 12 and 16.
I watched each one once, and once only.
Came to the conclusion that everyone watches it because they want to find out how (forgot his name - one of the judges) is going to destroy/ridicule one of the contestants.
Maybe all should be voting for him ..... VOTE FOR AMERICAN IDOL'S B*******D JUDGE.
Doesn't do much for the ol' grey matter watching that programme does it.

There isnt one not anymore at least, its just that the people who watched the first one and were interested kept watching and realized it was 'the popular thing' what everyone talked about and they need to be 'in' and know what to discuss and not seem like the odd guy out.

I never got into it. I don't like "mean" TV - all the so-called "reality" shows included. Simon is just plain rude. No one should be humiliated - or be encouraged to humiliate themselves - on national television. I can't watch it. It makes me really uncomfortable.

because they are told it's the biggest show on tv and they don't want to miss it

because they themselves like being the center of attention and wish they were there on the stage
