Not even close, Sharpton. He uses his power to demean anyone he disagrees with. That is not very "reverend" like. I wish the cable news would quit giving this guy a microphone, and why did they make Imus talk to him if they were going to fire him? Just amazing anyone listens to this guy.
And who made this guy the leader of all Blacks anyway? He is very shady. But hey, I am just a cracker, what do I know.

Sharpton wasnt punished at all when he used the Jewish Slur Himey town. Don Imus supports black people, llike Harold Ford JR. What white person has Al Sharpton ever supported, now you tell me which one of these are racists.

This is not about who is a bigot and who is not. Al Sharpton wants to know how Imus thinks he should be punished? How does Sharpton think he should be punished for slandering the Duke players who are innocent? Imus told a bad joke (like John Kerry?), but Sharpton was serious. The real issue here is that peace and balance are not our common goals; turning the tables, vengeance, and a "see-how-it-feels" attitude are continuing to divide all of us. We are not races and sexes, we are humans. I'm willing to forgive both of these men for being human and making mistakes.
