Except a few countries in Africa, no other country (even your home country) will allow transportation of live fish under the CETA UN act 1995, unless you have documents to prove that the live fish you are carrying has no disease and is solely for your home aquarium only.

Parrotfish as in saltwater Parrotfish? If so, it is not a candidate for aqua-culture,requiring live Coral in it's diet. Also there may be problems with Customs on re-entry, check with the Feds before you come home. Be careful. Good luck.----PeeTee.

You can buy parrotfish here in the United States- it will probably not survive the trip home!

The US (and most other countries) require at least a 30-day quarrantine period at certain facilities in the US. There's only a limited number of them, and you have to arrange to make sure it can happen. If you try it w/o doing the right paperwork, you and anyone traveling with you could end up doing jail time for smuggling or for bringing in diseased animals.

I don't think you can take it out of China into another country. Customs will not allow live animals out of the country that have not been health inspected and import export taxes paid.
