i own a shop and no,it wont help it none at all,you can add a power chip to it though and get about 20% more from it,those things work good ,i have one in my truck and its a 4.3 engine,and it really made a big difference in it,enough that i could really notice it ,but removing the baffles wont help it none,good luck with it hope this helps.

Go to www.ebay.com get the cheapest Cold Air Intake filter kit you will get more throttle, mpg, and a little more horsepower. They car will breath better I know I have one on my car sounds great.

NO,it will make it use more gas,because it will put more air into your fuel system that it was designed for.

It might at WOT(wide open throtle) other than that not by much if any.
