One or two, three at the most. My wife and 2 children are Mets fans and we live in Orange County New York. There's no mass transit and if we took the needed trains, buses and NY transit that alone would cost us over $50. To go by car it's about 70 miles and at $3.00 a gallon and the cost of tolls and parking again over $50. You had an answer from someone in Toronto who states a family might be able to see a game for $50 by cutting back on food, souvenirs and where they sit. Maybe in Toronto but in New York it cost that much to get to a game, unless you live in New York City itself . And the nose bleed seats cost more than $10 each. There is a world of difference between TV and being at the game but unfortunately, for us at least, the cost of getting to the game is very high. And the because of the pampered millionaire players the tickets are very costly. A few good things about TV though, my bathroom is down the hall and clean, food is cheaper and what I want, replays of questionable calls and closeups of plays. But nothing can beat the smell of the stadium, the roar of the drunken crowd or the taste of the vastly overpriced hot dogs.

How many have i planned on going to? 0.

I like baseball but I dont plan on going to games in advance really. Something will come up and I will go to 2 or 3 games this year. Id rather be comfortable in my apartment watching a game, than sweating in the stadium.

O ya, Indians.. if they ever play a real home game this year.

How many is hard to say.

I'm disabled and live on a very small and fixed income. I use a walker to get around, and that means that I'm limited to certain specific areas of the stadium, and for me, they're incredibly expensive. I just spent almost $50 for single ticket to the home opener, and that's out of a monthly income of less than $980.

I take my own food with me, and my own bottles of water. I'm firmly convinced, and have been for a couple of decades now (long before I became disabled) that the best possible souvenir of any game is your own score sheet, and I print my own at home.

Hopefully, I'll get to a couple of others, but as a guest of a friend who is also disabled, but has a larger income than do I.

This is also why I hate to hear people talk about how expensive it is to go to a game. Tickets in the Uecker seats are still at the game. You can take your own food and drink, refrain from buying souvenirs (or keep them under a specific price that you set, if you're taking your children), and take public transit. In most places, a family of 4 should probably be able to spend less than $50 for that outing. I know that not every family can afford that $50, but those aren't the people who scream about how expensive it is.

I live in Toronto.

6 Twins games.

5 Are home games and the 1 left is a visit to the Bronx.

It's going to be a tough day for the little Japanese twins fan :(

Last time i was there, the Twins won but my family and I had a tough time getting out of the stadium.

I'll make it back to NY to see the Yanks play one time. I have to. Aside from that, I go to about 15-20 Durham Bulls games. They are the Devil Rays minor league team.
