Don Imus didn't get fired. He still has the radio show, the televised part just will not be simulcast on MSNBC anymore.

Since I never listened to his show I won't care one way or the other. The only time I ever heard him was flipping through the stations while driving in NYC. He sounded like a self-righteous bagful of hate just in that first minute. I think if he is fired he will just look for another gig on talk radio. Plus don't forget he sells some kind of salsa in supermarket jars (or at least he does if no one organizes a boycott of that) so he won't starve.

I thought he got dropped by a few people that carried his show plus a two week unpaid suspension. Anyway, he did deserve to be punished. If youre going to be in the public eye (or ear) have some class man!

Yes it would be wrong. I thought he was suspended, which I also thought was wrong, he did apologize, I've heard women called worse publicly and what happened to freedom of speech?
