I hope everyone knows that Hannibal is not REAL and that Charles Manson never actually killed anyone....

that having been said, there have been some infamous names dropped here, Gacy, Green River, Dahmer, Jack the Ripper, etc. I can't believe no one said Son of Sam or the Hillside Strangler yet. Eeew...I think I know too much about this topic.
But if I were going to chose I'd pick the unknown guy, the one person who is still out there, responsible for many unsolved crimes, and the one who the FBI just can't seem to catch. I don't know who that is, and we may never know.

Here's a quiz to find out what kind of serial killer you are:

I would have to say Dahmer. I read a book by an author named Poppy Z. Brite titled "Exquisite Corpse". It was about two male Dahmer-like serial killers who began killing separately but met up to form a sort of duo.
Anyway, in her prologue she wrote about they treated Dahmer's corpse in the morgue of the prison where he was killed. The morgue workers actually had him handcuffed and shackled at the ankles even though he was totally dead. They were that afraid of him. If that idea doesn't ooze evil, I don't know what does. If you like to read stuff like this, you should definitely check out this book. Everything that she writes is fiction. And she is an awesome writer. You would be surprised how wicked the female mind can be.

Andrea Yates. She drowned her own 5 children in the bathtub, one right after the other. It does not get more sadistic than that. Ted Bundy is a saint compared to her.

i'm not up all serial killer trivia but the green river killer irks me because he used to show pictures of his kid to convince women he was just a 'regular family man'.

ted bundy was a piece of work with that all american nice guy look. that cast thing being used dually for sympathy and a weapon to bludgeon was reasonably crafty.

john wayne gacy was a total creep, offering boys & young men jobs and then torturing them to death while playing the role of civic leader, family man and occasional clown at the children's hospital.

wayne williams killed a slew of black children posing as a talent scout in poor neighborhoods. that was low-down.

jeffrey domher (sp?) what about that story he made up of his victim just being his gay lover to the cops and then killing and eating parts of him afterwards.

wow. so hard to choose, because they are all so 'special' in their own way.

i'm going with j. w. gacy. because even after he served time for sex crimes he made a comeback and fooled everyone. plus it involves kids and younger men.
