It's really quite easy actually. Take a look at the things that hurt you in the past, take what lessons you need from them then choose to let go. It's the choices we make that determine wether we are happy or not. If you want to be happy and live in the present instead of looking back then all you have to do is choose to do it and do it. Once you make the choice you'll look back one day and the past won't hurt so much.

Block that painful past out right now. You're your own worst enemy and it's time to look around and see how every day is a fresh start for you. Remember, tomorrow the present will be the past so you need to make happy new memories. Quit being a slave to your own bad memories.
