You can draw a line from the west edge of Minnesota and wind it south along the Appalacian Mountains,,,basically the old Union states...and divide the current parties (minus variations in urban areas) and describe the differnence between the parties today. Keep in mind that the present southern Democrats are very Conservative and rarely Liberal.

Most of my family votes Democratic.
