Or Washoe County?
Besides me, since I live there!

(Just checking to see how rural I really am...)

Washoe is the Native American tribe that lived at Lake Tahoe. There are many places here named after them and two reservations still-- one in Reno, one in Carson City.

I think I've driven thru Washoe County a few times returning to SDiego from Reno.

It's a picturesque drive. Iremember stopping somewhere along the country road and finding a nice piece of obsidian on te shoulder. (this was the area with prehistoric volcanos on the west side of the road.

"big sky" sorta feeling

I have. I use to live in the Reno/Sparks (Washoe County) area, and travelled through Washoe Valley every time I went to Carson City.

I grew up rurally too (you've probably never heard of Cambridge, VT) so don't feel too bad when I say that I've never heard of Washoe, NV. :D
