There are no cheap gold and silver cool coins. In coin collecting you get what you pay for. Usually if it is cheap then it is a fake or has been cleaned or whizzed to look nice. Well in the coin collecting community the cleaned and whizzed coins are considered damage and have little value. More than one person has been stung by a whizzed coin. I have seen a lot of fake coins on some of the auction sites. Best thing learn about the coins you want to collect before you buy. In my case knowing more than the dealer on certain series of coins has netted me some rare varieties at a common variety price. I would hate to see you taken by some of the dishonest people, out there in coin land.
