From my lifelong travels, I can recall hearing different "theories"
pertaining to this occurrence. As to their validity, I really can't say but they make for some interesting storytelling. I've heard that when someone you know that has passed on is thinking about you, that it registers somehow with the person thought about. It usually coincides with said spirit being nearby after becoming recently deceased. The other instance occurs when someone has actually walked over your final resting place as your spirit or soul exists and functions outside the realm of time and space and can sense such an incident. I guess we'll all find out one day; too bad we can't report back.

Suddenly, for no reason (even in the hottest of temperatures) you feel a chill (along with goose bumps), which can't be explained away.

Usually someone will say that you've just experienced "someone walking over your grave".

Have a lovely rest of the evening.

You feel a chill, when there is no draft and the place you are is warm.
