Yes of course.
He is the man with records only for popularity but not for official medals like ICC champion or ICC mini WC Champion or ICC WC champion etc.
He never played well when he is required the most.
Beside gaining lots of money , cars and new restuarants he had done nothing to Indian cricket.
He should be given retirement under CRS i.e Compulsory retirement scheme

LISTEN, IN WC 2003, WE DID VERY WELL TO REACH TO THE FINALS, BUT THEN AFTER INDIAN BOWLERS WERE FLAT IN FRONT OF THE AUSSIES AND GAVE AWAY 359 RUNS, SACHIN RIGHT FROM THE 1ST OVER, IN A MOOD TO RESET MCGRATH'S LINE SO THAT HE IS DOES NOT GET SETTLED, BECAUSE IF HE DID, A MINUMUM OF 3 WICKETS WAS IN HIS HANDS, AND LEAVE ALONE THE RUN RATE, [REQ R RATE WAS 7.20]
SUMHOW, IN ORDER TO DISTURN HIS LINE, HE TRIED A LIL TOO HARD, AND EVENTUALLY GOT OUT, AND SO WERE INDIA'S CHANCES....
HE HAS VIRTUALLY ACHIVED EV THING IN LIFE, BUT A WORLD CUP IS STILL A DREAM...

Sachin was compelled to play as per the modelling contract. He performed as per the dictate from higher-ups. He is smart enough to understand the fate of Bob Woolmer.

It seems like this. Despite his consistent poor performance he was selected by his name(read OLD records)& his friends in BCCI who blindly favour players from Mumbai. Munaf Patel would never have got any chance had he not moved from the team of Baroda to Maharastra, despite being the best & fastest bowler of India today.

Not at all. It is not Sachin got himself selected in the World Cup Squad and the Selectors selected him. While selecting him in the World Cup Squad it was not at all the intention of selectors to allow him to play one more world cup, but it was expected that he will regain him form and excell in his batting.

No way he it was his ultimate dream to bring back home the title. This is one of da few dreams he has not acheived at International Cricket- being part of a winning world cup side.
