A gene is made of DNA. A gene is one section of the continuous DNA molecule that makes up a chromosome.

A gene tells how to make one protein. The DNA in the gene has a pattern of nitrogen bases that have the code for how to build the protein out of building blocks called amino acids.

Protein synthesis is the process of building a protein.

The DNA is copyed by RNA thne turned in to mRNA and then Ribosomes run along the tRNA to find the right codons and uses protein synthisis to the protiens that are need for a gene then the gene is evpressed.
