They carry health insurance. When I first started as an agent I looked to see who we covered in Beverly Hills & there were alot of familiar names. You may want to try a website that compares multiple companies at once to get you the best price. I am paying less than ½ after I did.

As long as they remain members of the Screen Actors Guilde they have a very nice insurance plan - and I knw several major, minor and struggling unknowns that keep the SAG - not just for the access to jobs but because of the affordable health insurance

That's a good question. But, alas, I have no answer because I am not a celebrity. I would say that they probably do, however.
