Originally (in the 50's, 60's and 70's) Godzilla was about 50 meters tall (165 ft.), but in 1984 they remade him and he was 100 meters tall (325 ft.) -- mostly because buildings had gotten way larger and Godzilla would have looked too small. In some shots the scale can be wrong and Godzilla may look bigger or smaller, but for the miniature sets that's the sizes they went by.
