they may beat them when the Mavs visit on April 17th...but if they meet in the playoffs, the Mavs will prevail in a 7 game series.

im a huge warriors fan and we do own dallas as of now. we beat them 7 out of 11 times and 5 out of the last 6. we match up well against dallas and we cause problems for them. but even i dont think the warriors can beat dallas in a 7 games series. it has only happened once in nba history (nuggz over sonics). in the playoffs everything is turned up a notch and the warriors havent been in the playoffs in 12 years so they will lack experience not jackson or harrington but monta and andris and jrich. in a series, dallas will focus only on GS rather than other teams like they would in the regular season. plus the mavs have home court, we would have to travel more. overall i think the warriors can take 1 or 2 games from dallas in oakland but overall the mavs will win it.
but im hoping for an upset.

Honestly i am a huge warriors fan and i follow them day-to-day, but i believe it would be a stretch for them to beat dallas or even take it to seven games. The hope for me would be an exciting 6 game series in which the warriors players are showcased at a high level and show the NBA that Oakland is ready to become contenders again. I think this would draw more free agents and more nationally aired games.

i might be biased because im a warriors fan, but i believe the dubs can win against the mavs again... BUT im also saying that based on FACTS. i mean the warriors do have the third best home wins record in the entire league AND they've been known to be mavs killers who beat them both times they faced each other this year. dont get me wrong, im a mavs fan too but the warriors are making a playoff push and are hungry to get that 8th (if not 7th) spot. they've been playing very VERY well the past month so there's a really good chance they'll make dallas work for a win against them. GO WARRIORS!!!

Yes they will and this is why. Dirk has been told not to travel with the team on this road trip. Stack has been told not to travel on with the team on this road trip. Actually Avery Johnson said that if any one of those players he sees befor ehe gets back to Dallas, he'd gonna fine the 25,000 dollars. The final reason is that Golden State jsut seems to match up well with Dallas when everyone is playing. So without Dirk or Stack, Dallas is undermaned against a team that has proven they can beat them.

I dunno if they can beat them in a 7 game series, however they will make it an interesting series. I think the nba, and the refs will find a way for the mavs to prevail, they couldnt stand to see the mavs lose the first rd, can you imagine the mavs not advancing cuban would pay off whoever he had to to not let this happen.
