Well,
If a child is sexually assulted by a preditor, then the child needs to face his or her accussor and retell the story. The child is cross examined.....
If a woman is raped, dna is found and the preditor goes to court, in order for a tight case the woman needs to face her attacker...
If OJ is able to walk away from the case, even with all of the police reports of him brutally attacking his wife, how is this fair?
If a man kills another man, he goes to jail for 7 years. Yet, if someone extorts money they may go to jail for 14 years. Money is more important than a human being.
If a person steals a car, and is a repeat offender, he needs to engage in the crime multiple times before going to jail. Sometimes these offenders move to worse crimes if not caught.
What else can I say? The justice system is not set up to be fair. That's why lady justice is blinded by the blindfold. Justice is not meant to be fair. An eye for an eye is illegal.

Search the web... the information on the judicial system is right there waiting on you. But what makes you say that the judicial system is NOT fair? I think you are walking in a grey area>>> you can't convience yourself that the judicial system is fair so you have chosen to say that it is not fair. So how about this>>>try to research back to the death penalty law...... I'll even give you a start.. ALL of our laws are based upon the kings law, and you should remember from history that the king's law is based upon the BIBLE. In the BIBLE it says "thou shalt not kill", but people do it anyway. So, to your way of thinking, if a person is captured and convicted of murder, he or she should receive the death penalty. Right so far?? Now, it's time for the excutution but someone has to pull the switch. So now we have a convicted murderer that has paid his "debt to society" by having his/her life taken. But now do you need to apply the death penalty to the person that pulled the switch? after all, he was just doing his job>>> How about you think on that for a while... you may just find yourself forever walking in the grey area because there are crimes so terrible that you can't wait until he's excuted, but when you (figuritly) do you also create the cruelity against the accused's family and they are innocent of anything. Delve deep within yourself and decide if you think the system is fair or unfair.. Janet

Life isn't fair. Money & power rule this as well as most other aspects of life. The judicial system is not about fairness, it's about who can prove they're right (whether they are or not).
