My Wife works for this one PT going on a year now, and makes about $200-$400/month. www.workathomeagent.com

A local TV station researched these other 3, and said they are OK.
www.liveops.com
www.chacha.com
www.alpineaccess.com

I think they are all remote call-center style. You'll probably need a headset & DSL/Cable modem

Almost every site you find when doing a search on one of the major search engines for a work at home job will be a scam. Almost all of these programs basically tell you to do exactly what the person selling you did.. scam other people to buy the same product and profit from them. No real opportunity, just another multi-level marketing trick.

Paid survey sites - Buying information regarding making money filling out paid surveys.. Major rip off. Most of these sites will point you to outdated info or to info you could have found searching yourself. Very few sites on the internet actually offer paid surveys, most of them offer a possibility of winning a prize as payment.

One interesting technique I have used to make money online in the past was through ebay. If you monitor the newly listed buy it nows in a category of items that you've become familiar with the value of the items, you can buy items from people who are unaware of the value or just looking to unload. You can then resell right back on ebay with a proper auction and make money.

Some are scams, some aren't. Be careful and research out a program before you join it. If you want more information on how to work from home and some legit programs that really pay visit http://realworkathomeopportunities.blogspot.com
You can also get a free copy of a how to book on working from home there. Its pretty good if I say so myself (I maybe bias though sense I wrote it) I personally do not join any program that requires a fee. I do not believe in paying someone to work for them. You can make money online. I do.

Libby, I stay at home with my 2 kids, too, and asked this same question last August. Then I found a wonderful online at-home business. I used to be an accountant and helped people start businesses. Now I coach others to start at-home businesses with a really fun, business with low start-up costs. Check it out here. www.miabellalinda.com. If you're interested, you can fill out the contact form. If it's not for you, best wishes in finding your dream. You CAN do it!!

Well, there are so many legitimate work at home available around. You can work as at home customer care representative, virtual assistant, writing articles/blogs, proofreading & editing, mystery shopping. It is your qualities that earn you money from home. Best way to avoid being scammed is to never give money for getting work at home job.

I work at home on my web site. I have two school-aged children and I want to be here when they get home from school.

My site is a business and it's on the net. I get checks monthly from Google from the ads placed on the site.

If you want to learn more about it, look at my site and click on the "work at home" button.
