nope you are right that is excempt as well as apologies from the Rev. Sharpton and Jesse Jackson for their remarks in the Duke rape case as well as the groom case with the cops when Sharpton said the cops should be shot and then said that was a slip, in case he forgot that is what is called a Freudian slip

This sets a precedent. I don't even know this Don Imus person - but I do know what's been done is very wrong. Indeed, the rappers have gone on with their garbage for yrs. and have made milllions using the same words. Great...dandy.
The Al Sharptons and jesse Jacksons of this country better check their own closets....
In short, being a white male is (and has been) the worst human being on the face of this world. Black? Hey - That's great. I kinda wish I was black right now.

Who ever thinks that black kids don't listen to rap? What do you think they listen to? ...and most of it isn't the stuff you can buy at Target. This is a problem, and a lot of people are making Imus responsible for it because they don't have the gull to say that all these young black artists who have risen up from poverty have done so by praising drugs deals and degrading the value of women... Now not all rap is bad, but there are a lot more rap artists out there that get cheers by saying much worse that what Imus said.

This sucks! The Reverands Sharpton and Jackson, among others, are the true racists, but because Imus is a rich and famous white man he's become the target. This is an outrage!

Imus is a jerk and always has been but he didn't saying anything that blacks haven't said about themselves over and over again. Doesn't it seems interesting that everytime the race card gets pulled it always the blacks that are doing it! They need to get over it.

For those of you who want to make rap simply a black issue
need to do more research look into sound scan and you will find the target demographics are suburban white teens
Although i agree Flav Flav should be banded from T.V

Don't say that!! You'll be considered a racist!! Only Minorities can say negative, degrading and humiliating stuff on national TV an radio about white people and anyone else they choose to cut down.
To be brutally honest, I don't think this will ever change, because otherwise some people would have to actually blame themselves for not getting up and changing their life.

APPLES AND ORANGES!! If an average Jo Blow Black or White person would have said those words, so what! If Al Sharpton said those vile words on his radio show towards the Rutgers team, Al would be fired. If Al said those words toward the UConn basketball team or some Swiss (mostly white) team calling them "stank wet-dog headed hos", he would mostly likely be swinging from a tree or dragged from a pick up truck. To include rappers in this mess is like comparing apples to oranges. You have to pay money to hear rappers disrespect females. don was on a national and international show where no one paid a dime to hear him say those words. If rappers want to say filth to make money so be it, they won't be making money from me. Besides, that's the only way for them to make a million by saying filthy things because the record labels will only give them biggest pay check by acting like Fools. I don't agree with it but that's on them. don was stupid and ignorant. He's will pay for it in more ways than one. He will always be remember as the white man who calling some beautiful intelligent Black women ugly names. Darling, God takes care of everyone in His own time. don will be taken care of, he will be fired. That will make me so happy. So email me back with your reaction once his show is canceled. Also don needs to be on satellite radio so he can say anything he wants. Let his listeners pay to hear him say filth like the rappers.
