In Alabama, and I assume alot of other states, it is put in the divorce papers ANY time there are kids involved in a divorce. But rarely does anyone go by it. It is geared for the people that have a rotating door with overnight "guests". It isn't a law, just another of the do's and don'ts of a divorce. But if the father has overnight guests when he has his weekends with the kids, the mother can get him on contempt charges. He can get her on contempt charges if he wanted to push it, too.

There is no strict rule to that, unless it can be proven that the opposite sex is a bad influnence to the minor.
In that case, you would need to seek the approval of a judge to limit the overnight stays.
take care

I assume you mean guests not guess. And will assume you in the USA.
There is no law against it, nor is there a law agains married people havng overnight guests. Well adultery are likely illegal in some places still, however, its not enforced
That said, it is not a good idea, until you are certain you are getting married. It confuses kids.
Kids should be more important that thier parents libido.

If I am correct, and I think I am this problem can be brought up in family court. I watch allot of family court problems on t.v. and minor children are not allowed to be exposed to illicit behavior.
If you feel that there are signs that it is effecting your minor children you should without a doubt first discuss it with your ex, and explain it to him, or her. If your ex does not comply then I would take action.
Good luck in you efforts.

There is no such law. You are an adult, and are entitled to enjoy the company of the opposite sex. As long as you are discrete around the children, then no body has a right to tell u anything about it.
Just be careful that the children dont see anything they shouldnt.
Good luck to u.

Amazing as it sounds unless you are actually shooting your kid up with drugs or hiring a hooker to do them a parent can parade a line of babes/dudes out of the bedroom and the court and ex can't do a thing about it.

I don't believe there are any laws regarding that at all.
Some custody agreements have rules about that written into them.

Kids are confused enough why would you want them to be confused more,no there is no law unless the judge said that you couldn't have someone there after a certain time at night. But it won't stop your husband from dragging you into court for it.
