But to answer your question, why do indians like cricket so much, well its clearly because they rot at every other sport, cant say it any nicer but just face the fact ;D
And soon you will see this sport fading away from that country, just look at their pathetic performance!

There fanatics now coz of Sachin and u must b a weirdo if u havent heard to the legendary Sachin Tendulkar. Indians watching Tendulkar play want to play like him as well its like any other sport, if u see one star that shines above the rest youll see more people playing da sport in dat country.
