Why not look at the current trend?
Pittsburgh had blown their best chance the year before as a 15-1 team, but caught fire and won.
Indy had blown their best chance the year before as a 14-2 team, but caught fire and won.
That would leave Baltimore or San Diego, last year's 2 best teams.
Both Pittsburgh and Indy kept their coaching staffs together and Indy won 1 fewer game in their dominant season than Pittsburgh. Indy won 1 more game than Pittsburgh in its Super Bowl year.
Based on the trend, it appears to be the Ravens. Like Indy, they've replaced their RB. They won 13 games, which could continue that pattern.
If the pattern continues, Baltimore should win 13 games this year, maybe losing 3 straight sometime during midseason. Maybe they'll start out 10-0, then lose to San Diego, New England, and Indy in consecutive games. But they catch fire and beat Miami, Seattle, and Pittsburgh to be 13-3. Then they end up as the 3 seed behind New England and San Diego, but sweep through the 4 rounds to win a Super Bowl at 17-3.
Another possibility is that they make a run at a perfect season (they do finally have an offense this year to go with their defense that is even better than it was in 2000). Last season's most under-the-radar team could be the sleeping giant.

The chargers will beat the Saints 28-14.
The Chargers had 9 players go to the pro bowl last year and have all of them returning for this season. They're stacked. They had a league best 14-2 record last year and were only upset by the Pats because they choked, not necessarily because the Pats were a better team.
The saints will have another good year. Drew Brees will be ridiculously good with Reggie Bush and Marques Colston being more experienced.

i'm gonna go out on a limb and say the Pittsburgh Steelers. They have a lot of playmakers on both sides of the ball. On offense they have Hines Ward to make catches or maybe trick the opponent by running a WR Reverse Pass for a really nice gain. On defense they have the Longhorn Casey Hampton who can move like a DE and step up in win or lose situations.

Patriots - they finally surrounding Brady with offensive weapons and re-loading on defense. NFC is a toss-up - hard to pick the eventual loser at this point.
