You are confused. Sen. Byrd (D) was actually a leader in the KKK when he was younger but Bush and Cheney never were members. What you are doing is called "projecting" in psychology.

No, but I think Robert Byrd still is.
In 1942 24 year-old Byrd joined the Ku Klux Klan, which he had seen holding parades in Matoaka, West Virginia, as a child. His father had also been a Klan member. Byrd was unanimously elected to be the leader, known as the Exalted Cyclops, of his local chapter.

This has nothing to do with the question. i wanted to ask you about a an answer you gave for a question about Marijuana use in Amsterdam. Since you seem to know quite a bit about it. I am a second year college student and in my psychology class I have to talk about drug use in a different country. i was wondering if you would help me out or shine the light as to where i could find info on the subject and the use and abuse as well as the laws for it. It would be greatly appreciated.

And how about Robert Byrd?
Unlike Bush and Cheney, Byrd's membership is actually documented, not just a story you made up.
