5. Can they be taken in pregnancy?
Used in the recommended dosage there is no evidence that Pharmaton® represents a risk for the fetus during pregnancy. Controlled studies with pregnant women, however, are so far not available.
As with many other medicines, an assessment of benefits versus risks should be made before Pharmaton® is administered in this period. According to general medical practice, the use of this product by pregnant or lactating women should be decided by the prescribing physician.
