No, not fired, but AMC is feeling the effects of the slowing economy like everyone else. Notice that many of the actors/acresses are getting storylines now that require them to be absent for a while. They don't get paid when they are gone. Tad is out of the country looking for Jamie, Dr. Martin stepped down as chief-of-staff of the hospital, Kendall in a coma (although due to her getting married, I heard this was allowed due to the need for pay cuts).

Well I don't really know her so I can't tell you what I like about her. But she is a great actress and she looks damn good for her age.

I don't watch All my Children or any soaps. But I have seen her in other movies, etc. She is kinda bony but acts pretty good.
