You see all the time where corporations give to others corporations or "not for profit angencies" when they use that moeny as a tax right off and is not going to people that actually need help. Then they make a big deal out of the one child they may have given a stuffed animal to when thier family is starving and homeless and say how much they really give back to the comunity. Can anyone give me an example where they have been helped by a non-for-profit-agency and weather they were treated well or did they feel like it was more like a show and at the end of it they felt brushed aside? Do you think these agancies really do all that much or do you think that too many people are profiting from them that are already rich to begin with? Why is it you never see that many people in need that have been helped?

A lot of co's just do it and don't want any publicity.
Look at Ronald McDonald Houses. Red Cross. Catholic Charities, American Cancer society,.

Let me explain tax writeoffs. A co does not pay income tax on the money they donate. But, the tax rate may be 25%. So, if they give a dollar, it still costs them 75 cents.

If corporations stopped giving to charity what do you think would happen???
Think about it.
