Often, not all the time, when I am dreaming I can control what happens.

Have you experienced this?

Does anyone know how I can control my dreams? What makes this possible?

I never have been to do so. What you are experiencing is called lucid dreaming. That is where you are awake enough during your dreams to be able to make decisions and to exploit the realms of possibilities. Since dreams are not real and do not have to obey natural laws, if you know you are in one, you can do whatever you want.

Some say that what you should do is to get into the habit of regularly asking yourself if you are in a dream. If you answer yes, you have achieved lucid dreaming.

I have been able to control my dreams a few times. What you need to do is be aware of when something happens that is just to crazy to be reality. You can then acknowledge you are dreaming and then take control of your actions. I usually like to fly, but have done other things...

I can make myself wake up if i do not like the way me dream is going, or if it is a bad dream. Im not sure why, I thought most people could do that. iv never noticed controlling what happens enough to remember after i woke up. :)

Yes. I control my dreams about 99% of the time. I enjoy it. It's the 1% that troubles me. Its those dreams when you finely realize its a dream, but you cant wake from it, no matter what you do or how hard you attempt to scream, you just cant wake from the dream (hate those)

Once I realized that I was in a dream... I was able to do whatever I wanted! Unfortunately, it only happened once.

ya!! i've experienced it!! I do it all the time....especially when my dreams are colored!

you just have to drift away......you control yourself!
so it's not so hard to know you're dreaming....you don't have to actualy concentrate.

Yes. I've had recurring nightmares which go to the house where I grew up. If it starts to go there, I can wake myself up before it gets really bad. I don't know why.
