I decided to devise a 'pat' answer to all your idiotic questions mr sandstrom, because for every different question you ask, your really only trying to expound your perverse central theme of chauvinism, dominance, humiliation and control.you try to hide your perverse opinions through carefully crafted 'questions'-but your not smart enough to disguise your true nature and just how disgusting that really is.
somebody should study how ur mind works sandstorm..it has so many defects its quite troubling. You have become incredibly obsessed with control and dominance because you've found you cant keep a woman thru her own freewill. And thats not because the woman had the issues, its because of your unattractive personality and archaic way of non-thinking that most certainly naturally repells women away from you. Being so hateful towards women, i find it scary you actually use this forum to try to convince others of your personal sickness~

I have to disagree with you. You asked "Should they be allowed" to be police officers. If answer was no, then that would be discrimination. It is a woman's choice if she wants to be a police officer; it is not a job that is mandatory for you or any woman. Yes, the uniforms are the same, but that is because of the business; a skirt would not suffice for the job. Women wear blue jeans and other such clothing as men do also. As far as carrying a gun, that is a necessary part of the job for protection. It is not an aggressive devise, but to deter someone from and prevent someone from harming you. The Constitution allows all Americans to bear arms and that includes criminals and women.
Physical strength is not as effective as knowledge of how to effectively subdue a suspect. The uniform and your partner are important in this area.
As far as pregnancy, a woman would be protected under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, which was amended in 1995 to include pregnancy. That does not mean you can't be counted on, it merely means you would need time off to take care of your child. It does not mean a woman would have to "quit".
When you say a [Police] man wouldn't not want a woman partner, I could not agree with you again. I (as a man) would not have a problem with that because both partners should be professional as they would both be trained in the same fashion for the same job. I'm not sure what you mean by "masculine" women are against nature, because if they are, then it IS natural for them.
Many women chose to become animal control officers, which are police officers and do carry guns as well. However if the "streets" are not something you would like to protect as a police officer, then simply choose another field of work. There are women who want to do this kind of work and some that do not. Like a TV, if you don't like the channel; change it, but don't disallow others to do what you are not willing to do.

The uniforms are practical. Women who become pregnant while on active duty are given safe assignments like behind the desk. While there are always EOE issues in many career fields; most cops have to pass rigorous testing and physical agilities. They are qualified and often it is a female who will pass and a male who will not. It is knowledge of what to do in crisis situations as well as emergency situations that enables them to be effective. Not carrying a weapon. They are well trained and go thru scenarios repeatedly. After all, how strong do you have to be to pull a trigger. That is the last consideration. Are you willing or will you hesitate should the need arise. You should do more research. Law Enforcement may not be for you or many other multi-gendered fields. If you are ever in need of assistance that self-same female that you criticize won't hesitate to help you despite your neanderthal views.

Well... Hmmm.... All right, I already know that I won't get a best answer for this one!..... Back off! Seriously, I agree on the physical strength thing, if a women can't do the same thing as a man than she shouldn't be allowed to endanger ANYONE! But really, they shouldn't carry guns??? I shoot better than most of my MALE friends(I'm in the ARMY!), so what now?
I pride myself on not being a feminist, but it is people like YOU that make me want to join the movement!
By the way women can be strong AND feminine AND competent AND reliable!
I hope that someday you realize there are many reasons why women should do these jobs(if they qualify), but until you have experience to back this up you opinions....SHUT THE HELL UP!

All 50 states, so some distance as i understand. I n California there are assorted women working as cops, and the Sheriff branch. the comparable is real in Colorado, Ohio and Nevada. cases have replaced from the 70s, women makeup numerous the perfect cops accessible. If a woman can die in try against operations in Iraq, then truly they are in a position to accomplish responsibilities as a regulation Enforcement Officer. i could propose which you get a minimum of a 2 twelve months degree in criminal Justice ahead of fixing right into a member of. given which will make it extra handy so which you will get promoted. as with every occupation, the human beings with the main practise gets promoted during the ranks to the main senior positions.

If they meet the regulations, women should be allowed to be police officers. If getting pregnant is a problem, perhaps the officers should just not be allowed to get pregnant. Women are every bit as good as men, and I hope that most people would agree with me on that one.
btw - It seems many people here think women should be police officers, basing off the first page.

Of course. Do women not have physical strength? Just because she's not fit like a man doesn't mean she's not strong. Can a woman not protect others, she protects her children and herself. Are women not brave and confident enough to be police officers? Women are not weak, not EVERY woman. It's not that we aren't MEANT to be police officers, but it's if we CAN be officers. Don't just assume women are not capable of handling serious situations and weapons. Otherwise women wouldn't be police officers, firefighters, and soldiers.

thereare only 13 percent of women in law enforcement and there needs to be more. I just did a research paper on this and women are more likely to handle domestic abuse cases quicker and better then the male officer plus male officers are more then likely to be sued for excessive force against aperson then a female. Female officers have done so much great work to contribute to society.

I dated a cop and she would practice hand to hand combat on me. . and she always lost.
I have no formal training, I am just stronger.
BUT
She got top points in school and was DEAD accurate with both a tazer and her 9mm
It doesn't take a lot of strength to pull a trigger and so I think she would do well.
The police would not allow women on the force if it were obvious that having a female partner would greatly increase the risk to other officers. Since a bullet will kill you no matter what gender you are... . IT DOES NOT MATTER.

Many a female police officer has saved her partner regardless whether the partner was she/he. Some women make excellent police officers or they would not have earned their badge. We should leave this up to the Police Academy to decide, don't you agree? Do you have a degree in this subject?
A woman may get pregnant but did you know that male police officers are also allowed MATERNITY LEAVE with their pregnant partner? You didn't research this enough!
PS....to the guy that said we can't pee standing up! YOU ARE WRONG>>>>we can back up into a urinal and stand there and let it all out....and by the by...OUR BACKS ARE TO THE WALL...........safer standing that way!
Welcome back , Mr. Sandstorm.....if this is really you....GIVE ME SIGN! lol

Listen buddy, as far as the physical strength goes, i agree, ive seen alot of woman on cops who get overtaken. BUT, woman with guns,Kiss my ***!A woman can learn to shoot just as good as a man,if we had a penis we would ALWAYS make it in the toilet, we're particular that way.Im all for a woman doing what she wants to do, and some broads are more butch and tougher than men i know. If a woman wants to put her life on the line for you, who are you to complain? you arent man enough to be out there doing it, and she is.
