How can people call for the impeachment of Speaker Nancy Pelosi, as well as President George Bush, even though there is no grounds to impeach either?

Additionally, is impeachment the proper term for removing the Speaker of the House?

No, there is no reason to impeach them, but i would like to see Pelosi gone.
regardless you cant impeach someone just because you don't like them or their ideas, there must be a crime in order to even consider impeachment. neither Bush or Pelosi have committed a crime, and therefore can not be impeached.

There is no official procedure for the the people to call for their impeachment. The Dems in the House of Rep's can remove Pelosi as speaker, and the entire house can remove her from congress....but they won't.

Because everyone must have realized what a great use of taxpayer time and money they Clinton impeachment was. Millions of dollars and unfocused attention to basically say "we're Congress and you did a boo-boo".

"Additionally, is impeachment the proper term for removing the Speaker of the House? "- no

What a lot of you morons don't know about Pelosi's trip to Syria is that she had a Bush spokesman with her at all the meetings telling her what she could and couldn't say.

You want to know whats impeachable?

How about spying on American citizens.

How about warrantless wiretapping.

How about willfully breaking many laws of the Constitution.

How about them going through your mail to see what you are sending and what you are getting.

How about the Military Commisions Act of 2006.

How about sitting there in that classroom for damn near 10 minutes after he was told that America was under attack.

How about the Patriot Act.

How about willfully lieing to the American people to get them involved in an illegal war for profit.

How about decades of business ties with the Bin Laden family.

How about approving torture.

This list could go on forever. There are a lot more reasons to impeach Bush and Cheney then there is to impeach Pelosi. Those two guys should be standing trial for war crimes.

Who cares what proper is, when wanting to remove Nancy Pelosi from office? Did she act properly when she went to Syria, without the support of the American president, George Bush, spouted her personal policies to Syria, and the rest of the middle east, instead of American and Israeli policies, that Israel would have no peace talks, until Syria, and other Arab nations stopped financially supporting terrorist groups, and harboring them? She lied, didn't she? She told Syria that the Israeli's wanted to talk peace. Now, that just isn't true, is it? It matters not, if the word impeachment, is the correct term, for dumping her self-righteous, lying, foolish ridiculous self. She has shamed herself, and lost all respect. She also gave women a bad name, by her actions. The first woman speaker of the house, and she fails within the first 3 months! Because of her stupidity, she may very well have set the future for women in politics back for many years! SHAME, SHAME ON HER!

I do not care for Bush but I do not want any impeachments to take place. We have enough going on right now with the war, fuel prices and the economy. Lets just suffer through these next years and pray for better results in 2008.

We have too many issues that require attention to waste time with any impeachment; we might be much better off if the last Congress had just told Clinton to zip it up and then got busy doing their real jobs.

people are so blinded to politics that the "truth" isn't going to get in the way...

Rush or Michael Moore told them that there was a crime, so there must be one...

Presidents and speakers have did many of the same things that this president and speaker have done... it's really mostly a bunch of silliness

Pelosi has violated the Logan Act, over stepping her bounds, besides looking like a fool "delivering" Israel's message completely backwards. President Bush, still no high crimes. Sorry.

Thank you.

I'm a democrat. Thank you.
I disagree with many of my representatives. I may even protest some of them.

I don't tolerate sedition, spreading false rumors, name-calling, etc. of our elected representatives whether I voted for them or not. They are still MY representatives.

I'm a patriot and U.S.A. citizen, first, and a democrat, second.

Keep speaking up.
