Jealous is so close to envy, they could be kissin' cousins. It's beyond MY comprehension why anyone would be "jealous" of anything, unless they were very insecure, had incredibly low self esteem, & nothing better to do with their time. No, I am not, & never have been, but many, many people are. I didn't intend to sound cruel; there are other motivations as well--but it simply is a destructive emotion. Not just to the person who feels it, but to those involved. Jealousy can be about something someone has, & you don't; it can be possessiveness of someone you feel threatened you might lose, & so on. It is a wasted, & NEVER constructive emotion. Think about it.

OOhhh man, yes I am.
Especially when it comes to my husband. No, I am not insecure. I just don't pretend that the world is perfect and friendly. Other jealous people are out there, and they want my happiness. And women are sooo vicious and great at planning and scheming.

Don't you think that we all are jealous? It's
just that some show it more than others.
Some of us are more suspicious than jealous
about our mates. Remember when we were
kids and we were choosing sides in a game
and we were not chosen first? Did we feel
jealous or dissapointment? I do feel that
we all are a little bit jealous.

I am jealous, but i shouldn't be. My life is amazing and i couldn't ask for anymore. I have awesome friends, parents, grades. I don't think i need anything else.

It depends. But not as much as I used to be. I found out I am a lot happier when I help other people become all they can be... now it's a lot easier to celebrate other people's successes and know that I played a part in helping them succeed.
