Hate is such a powerful word. I think, honestly, that Americans are too wrapped up in their individual lives to feel an emotion this strong. Just like many American's will never feel true love, true passion, true rage...
They seem to be caught in a platue- they will not move forward or backword.
No I don't think they hate- I don't think many can even feel that intensely.. But I do think that they throw the word around casually.

the stakes are high. liberals don't hate their fellow americans who have thrown overboard everything america stands for, because they've somehow confused bush with their lord and savior. we are concerned about the severe damage they've been doing to our country, and we are not much tolerant of their ignorance, their koolaid drinking, their willingness to act like good soviets and spy on and turn in their neighbors. we don't think it's just another way to be an american. we think it's wrong and dangerous and the death of america, frankly. so, discussions about such may be heated or passionate and appear like hatred. but it is, of course, love and concern for our common home and dream.

I think so. With the war and all that is going on, people are under alot of stress. The police treat the Americans like their a threat to our society and forget that we pay their wages. We have more policeing in the USA, then over seas.

Sure. You've got the right-wing religious morons on one side, and the hippy liberals on the other. The ones caught in the middle bear the brunt of each side's intolerance and ignorance.

Not even close, it's really too bad we don't hate evil near enough. The world would be a much better place if we killed off many of the really evil people and those supporting them.

some do i think....that's unfortunate....i spent quite a few years in the USMC...i fought for the rights of ppl to speak their minds..even if i didn't agree with their point of view...i love my fellow Americans...i just we(as a country) will wake up and see the true threat that we as a country face now....the Islamic terrorist mean to kill us...and as many of us that they can....we better seal our boarders and start looking out for each other right here before its too late...GOD BLESS AMERICA..SEMPER FI

It's not only Americans. It seems like everyone is less tolerant of cultures they are not familiar with.
