Reba sums this up for me:
My roots are planted in the past
Though my life is changing fast
Who I am is who I want to be...........Yes! I am an old soul.

The meaning of an old soul goes deeper than not getting things of today or not being up to date. It infers wisdom and understanding, a knowledge beyond its years.
I am an old soul.

Old soul, or so I'm told. My daughter has an older soul than me, though. I'm so amazed at the things she says.

Old soul definitely. I really don't get today, what with the gangsters and the rappers and all that stuff. It's a different atmosphere than when I was younger.

I stared at this question a long time...I don't know why it hit me so hard, but it did. Perhaps if I were still in my 20's or 30's...it wouldn't have knocked me up side the head...but, I'm in my 50's and it happened when I wasn't looking...so, I guess I've kept up to some degree, but I'm always going to be and "old hippy".

I've been told by many, many people that I have an old soul, because of my outlook on life.
