It won't happen unless this is a case where a teenager was caught because of age of consent laws. Otherwise sexual crime cases have about a 1% chance of getting sealed.

Testimony of witnesses and victims are the best place to start. Follow it up with scientific evidence (DNA and the like) and circumstantial evidence like child pornography found in the accused's possession.

Personally, I think a sexual predator's past should be public knowledge. Only the victim should be protected.
