Unfortunately this is the problem that happens in many cases when purchasing outside of a reputable seller, i.e. Universal directly or a travel agent. In most cases the risk is much bigger than the money you save, so it is best to go with a safe seller.

The best thing to do is contact Universal and give them the numbers and any other info on the ticket to see if they can get any information for you. Without seeing the tickets and/or knowing a little more about them, it is hard to tell whether or not they are real.

So, I would definitely call Universal and see what they have to say, they should direct you to the proper departments to take care of you.... One thing to keep in mind, don't be surprised if any of the agents are unfriendly or not willing to help, I've heard people in the past having problems when they bought tickets outside of Universal and then needing help. You may just hang up and call again if you have problems.

If you do find out that the tickets are fake, there really isn't much that you can do. Being Craigslist I doubt working with the BBB will do much good, but it is worth a shot. You may also consider recontacting the seller, if they are a legitimate seller they may work with you. There are a few cases where they bougth the tickets and got ripped off and didn't realize it. But, more than likely they aren't going to contact you back, most of the time the seller is going to know what they have done.

Good luck, hopefully everything works out for the best!

Good luck with that. Most people lie about the tickets they sell on Ebay and Craig's List. the tickets are probably used. Even if they have days left on them they won't be any good because your fingerprints won't match the ones on file. However if they are not used then you are OK. Tickets are non-transferable once activated. ETA: When you order tickets on the website you do not enter a name for every person. The only name entered it the person purchasing the tickets. I could order 10 tickets tonight and give then out as Christmas gifts. The tickets would still be valid. ETA: It is against FL law for unauthorized persons to sell tickets, but if the transaction did not take place in FL then no law was likely violated. One would have to check the laws for their state.

Why do you think they are fake? Why don't you check their ratings on the BBB until you get an answer.
