I do. I just read a disturbing article on how the president's friend Jack Abramoff was raising money for weapons and sniper training for 'settlers' in occupied territories. in other words, bush's friend is arming israelis to go into palestine and murder palestinians. it is grotesque and horrifying and the war crimes need to stop. without our support, they'd have to.

Absolutely. It was Israeli lobbyists that lied us into invading Iraq, a sovereign nation (Paul Wolfowitz, Douglas Feith, Richard Perle, William Kristol).
One thing that all Jews have in common is they hate Muslims. Dual citizen Israelis in the USA should not be allowed to hold public office, or influence our foreign policy. Israel is just too controversial a world figure to be an "ally" of the USA.
America needs to separate from such alliances and return the sovereignty to the American taxpayer, and take it out of the hands of dual citizen Israelis and lobbyists.

Israel is not too influential. If it had more influence the U.S. could not have pressured Israel into the extreme concessions she was ready to make under Oslo, which, of course, were rejected by the Arabs anyway.
This rejection ended up being good for Israel.
The question betrays the questioner's real motive.

Israel has a lot of credibility in America because they are the best ally America have in the middle east. Without Israel, all of the middle east would be a big sore spot for the U.S.
