I think that dogs are better. I have a dog and a cat and i love them both the same but i just in general like dogs better. hope this helped.!

well, i have 5 cats and 2 dogs. before we had dogs i was always a cat person, but now that we have dogs i'm not so sure anymore. i think even. cats will curl up next to you and make that cute little purr...and they're so fun to watch play. and dogs adore people, they're sad when you leave them alone which makes you feel like they really love you. so i would say it's a tie!

There are pros and cons with both cats and dogs, so whether a cat or a dog is better is a personal choice. My personal choice is cats.

It depends on whether you want something that worships you or something that mostly comes to you when it's hungry. . . but seriously, I have 4 cats myself and while it is a pain to clean their litter boxes I'd rather have cats any day. Mine are just as affectionate as dogs and one of them likes to play "fetch" just like a dog. Besides, where I live there are size/weight restrictions on dogs that one may own: anything above "walking toupee" (i.e. Lhasa Apso) is not allowed.

CATS!!!! ive never had a dog but i want one, i love my cat so much they are not mean like everyone else says and dont need as much care

I would say cats. Quiet, loving and sweet. Of course not all of them though! Dogs are so jumpy. I've had only cats.

they are both nice, just different. Dogs are usually friendlier and more outgoing and personable. However, if they are not, then they are biting you ....
cats are usually more aloof and less friendly, but they are easier to care for and don't need as much space or exercise ...
I have and like both, but I like dogs a little better.
