The concept of "normality" probably derived from comparing things, people etc. to known facts. Take for example a plant. A gardener knows if a plant grows normally based on his vast experiences over many years. He might see if a plant "lacks" something like more water or more fertiliser so to grow "normal" again and to give to the gardener a beneficial harvest.
We as humans also know in our innermost what is in the range of being "normal". Nevertheless we sometimes put this concept in a wrong context of restricted moral ideas. This means for example, we all know that it is normal and also healthy if people do not harm others, nevertheless a person might live in a family in which it is "normal" to follow a certain type of path or education. Here the concept of normality gets distorted and can actually install lots of pain under the cover of "normality". If we consider that every human being has the ability to make choices in the frame of "normal" I mean here healthy boundaries, this choices should not be restricted into a "wrong Normality". If a person in a family of lawyers and doctors for example feels in his soul to break out of the "normal" family tradition and become an artist, this person mighy be seen by his family as not "normal". Nevertheless it is very much "normal" that every person has different strenghts and qualities and the wish to pursue different goals.
What in this scenario is now normal and not normal? The family who wants to push the son or daughter in a for this person "unhealthy" direction or the son and daughter who wants to follow his her inner desire without harming anybody with that as such?
You know the answer yourself.

I think that there is no normal life any more. For everything has changed in these past years. Even our safety is at stake on a daily basis. Unlike years ago when we all did not think much of Terrorism. Normal is what you make of your life. Your basic daily routine. Normal to some is to Bland, and Boring. But for me I think that it's okay to live a normal life, as long as you don't get weighed down with it. Thus forgetting about whats most important. Like God, family, and the warning signs of this world.
We all just need to be alert today. Yet try to live life to the fullest each day. Try to be content, and happy with the life God gave you.

I don't think there is such a thing as "normal". To be normal would mean boring, run of the mill, middle of the road on all things, blah, bland. People use normal to describe their idea of the absence of an abnormality or abhorrent behaviors, actions and deeds.

Reality as being portrayed on the news or in school is not the whole truth. If you find some things don't make sense to what you have been told, you are normal.
Those who swallow everything are the abnormal ones.

Normal is everything in the "big picture" that doesn't stand out.
I do not think myself normal, and also think that everybody feel to some extent not normal. There is always something unique in the individual.

Its a shame society predicts whats normal.
We, all are individuals, and whats normal to me, may not be normal to someone else.
Who cares. Be yourself and have fun.
I think I am the most normal person around.
Ha Ha Ha..........Some of friends think I'm weird.
Spontaneity is wonderful.

I hope I'm not normal.
Normal people think that it's OK to have wars and kill other people. They think that if we can just kill the right people we can have peace.
If these are the thoughts of sane normal people then I don't want to be sane or normal.
Love and blessings Don

norm is the memes or norms of a society they very from culture to culture even in you community so it depends on were you are really . memes are part of what makes us human they create society language is a meme to the human culture vs idk turtles . good example of a meme that exists from place to place is clothing what we were in north America isn't as normal in India were they have a whole separate style of dress. so we are all normal but not normal it depends were you are and what you are looking at. so don't try to get to deep into it . normality is a complex frighting subject

"Normal" is an illusion. It doesn't exist. It is a stardard of unknowns in an effort to conform people. It paves the road for judgement and stagnatism. JFK said, "Conformity is the jailer of freedom and the enemy of growth." To be normal, is to conform.
