I would suggest that you have your car checked by a more reputable mechanic, the misfiring could be caused by a faulty plug or plug wire, now what gets my attention is the fact you say you have antifreeze in a spark plug hole. Instead of the mechanic saying it will dry out, how it is getting in there needs to be found. antifreeze getting into a cylinder immediately tells me that the intake manifold is leaking coolant in the cylinder or there is the beginnings of a blown head gasket.

no longer a sturdy signal. This in a lot of circumstances takes position at the same time as your engine overheats and your head gasket (seal between your block and head) fails. examine your oil for water or anti-freeze. once you've antifreeze contained in the plugs, you probebly have it contained in the oil too. Oil will be cloudy or milky if water is recent. on the least, you want a sparkling head gasket. in case your vehicle overheated, and that's what brought with reference to the failure (maximum probably in a non-turbocharged vehicle) you ought to really have a nasty waterpump, thermostadt, fan, belt or radiator. The antifreeze is the outcome of failure someplace contained in the cooling device. with slightly of success you probably did not run too lengthy with water contained in the oil. which will be a perilous and requre a sparkling motor.

sounds like the gasket did not seal around one of the water ports on the intake. most likely may have to pull back off and check. .
