When i was walking my dog , this lady came up to pet him and he stuck his nose in her butt, i was trying to pull him away , she was laughing and saying bad dog, i didn't like her calling him bad , i just said he is just crazy about the smell of poo..was i rude... i mean she did come up to us,

Yeah you were mean. Sounds like she was just being friendly and you were an asshole. Your dog prob does like the smell of poo though, and you being cheeky like that is quite funny.
