The brain makes the image look right side up. The image in a television camera is upside down, but the electronics make it look right side up also.

here is nothing that prevents the wiring to the brain from processing it any way it sees fit, it is all done "in software".
Actually, there was an experiment done a few years ago, with some volunteers wearing glasses that made the image upside down, After a few days, their brain had reprogrammed itself to turn the image around so they could function normally. Then, after a few more days, they took the glasses off, and they felt dizzy for more days before the brain reprogrammed itself to undo the initial reversal.
The sense of "up" and "down" is the result of all the sensory effects, it has nothing to do with how the image gets recorded by the eye, upside down or not.

The brain makes adjustments internally to make the image look "right side up". If you put on a special kind of glasses to turn the image upside down again, you can actually learn to see things right side up again - then take off teh glasses and things are upside down once more!
The brain is an amazing organ.

Actually, it is upside down. You are just used to it so it seems normal to you.
