Quick question about the PS3. I need to know if it’s alright to play the PS3 on a standard TV, you know just a basic TV that has only the coaxes connection?

Yes it is alright to play the PS3 on a regular T.V. I use the component cables for my PS3 so that I will get a good picture. You won't mess up the PS3 or the T.V. if you play on a standard T.V. But if you want to get superior picture you need to get a HDTV.

Hi Mate,

It works OK on a standard TV. But you will never see the real 3D graphics like in Motor Storm until you play on an HD. Some day, I am sure that you will get a cheap HD TV. The price has been falling over the last few months.

You can get a cheap VIZIO HD TV from Costco for under $1000, just a thought
