My favorite thing about the movie was the long camara shots. The longest, during the war scene, lasted about 9 minutes. It also protrayed a future that didn't look too futuristic. Any thoughts?

It wasn't at all what I was expecting. It made me think. It made me sad. It made me cry. It made me angry. The looks on their faces when they hear the baby cry. The way the soilders ALL just STOP and let the mother pass. It made you wonder if they thought the fighting was as pointless as I did. Because when it all came down to the wire, the baby gave even those soilders hope. If only for a few seconds. It was hope indeed. I'm about to cry now...lol :-)

I loved the long shots too, especially the one in the car when it gets hit (or blown up, I can't remember.)

I enjoyed the movie. It was really dark, and sobering but I got really into the world and I could really imagine a future like that.
