I would be concerned if the modification caused the plant to make chemicals that might harm me. I might also be concerned because we cannot know the long term consequences of using GM foods until a long time has actually passed.

In reality, I am not concerned enough to avoid GM foods or to investigate what GM food products might be making their way into my diet. I have enough other things to think about, so this issue hasn't made its way to the top of my list yet.
