Being savaged by a runaway school board.?

Anyone have similar experience?
My town has been a playground for the past town council .
Questionable dealings by the M...t utility co., with or without complicity by members of 2 councils in the same school district have put a huge tax burden on our shoulders.
The school board is out of control & wants to increase spending again to essentially proof themselves from the mess they helped create.
Would appreciate any insights from those who have been in similar situation as to the type of action ( successful) against
this kind of official misconduct.
In NY state & any links to state or federal representatives & agencies will be welcome

Start a petition demanding a recall vote for those on the school board-especially those serving on multiple boards. Send the media around to investigate the misconducts you believe are occuring.

Double check the law and the school board charter for requirements to serve on the school board. If those serving on multiple boards are doing so illegally, demand they step down from one or all of thier positions. If they are doing it legally. talk to your state legislature representatives about introducing bills to change the set up. A Constitutional Amendment requiring residency within area the candidate is representing should pass quite easily.
