Mon Essentiel, Ca Marche, and Etre a la Hauteur from the Musical Le Roi Soleil. The rest of the songs are great too, but these have music videos. They are pop/rock songs.

Try the links Jamendo is all free songs to download and play, and at least 50% French. Airtist often offers free listens and links to videos. If you can find NAT'H on airtist, they have links to some videos that have the lyrics superposed on the screen. Malorie's albums have the lyrics in French paired with the song offerings on her albums. I gave you a link to one song, but you can back it up to albums or just search on the name Malorie. Wania Weller sings in several languages and is someone you might be able to talk to on Facebook. Those are all indie artists and all probably genius caliber performers. They mostly write and produce their own stuff.

Try L'amour en Soi by Vanessa Paradis. There is a video on YouTube and it shouldn't be too hard to find the lyrics.
BTW, many of her songs are catchy and most are French.
